Agape's Name

Agape comes from the Greek word ἀγάπη and means pure and unconditional love.  Agape was the first name of the woman who became the symbol of the precious gift that Mother Earth gave us together with her unconditional love: the liquid gold.

In 1955, Agape Venturi bought the local olive oil mill together with her husband, Duilio Guerra.  They  started producing extra virgin olive oil and selling it mainly in cans with no label. When their daughter Nilvana joined them in the activity, she bought a picture of her mother to a typographer and since then the face of the woman, who would unconditionally support her family, became the logo of the company, to celebrate the purest ingredient we press together with the olives: LOVE.
