Our Land
On top of a green hill in the heart of Montefeltro Region, there is a small and evocative medieval village called Sassocorvaro. During the calm and sunny days, a blue lake reflects the surrounding peaceful landscape and the “Rocca Ubaldinesca”, an architectural masterpiece made by the collaboration between the powerful and emblematic Ottaviano Ubaldini della Carda and one of the best architect of the Rennaisance: Francesco di Giorgio Martini.
During the Second World War, the “Rocca Ubaldinesca” had been the shelter for nearly 10.000 artworks, which were hidden from the German soldiers by Pasquale Rotondi
